The Clackamas County Republican Party voted at their quarterly Central Committee meeting on June 18, 2016 to take an official position to oppose IP-28, the veiled sale's tax. ORP: Delegates and Congressional Delegates Elected

Over 630 Republicans from around Oregon met on Saturday in Salem for the Oregon Republican Party Delegate Selection Convention. Clackamas County was well represented, attended by long time Precinct Committee Persons and PCPs elected for the first time just weeks earlier. After a full day of speeches, discussion and voting, the oregon Delegation to the Republican National Convention was selected. Message from the Chair: The Primary Elections are over. Most of the ballots have been counted. Although unofficial, we have 182 Precinct Committee Persons who had filed, had their name on their ballot, and received enough votes to qualify as a PCP for the next two years. We also had 82 Republicans throughout Clackamas County successfully run a write-in campaign to receive the required votes to qualify as an elected PCP as well.
